Board Selection
The Board of Directors of most non-profits are selected based upon factors such as experience, the weight of their resume, their standing in the community and other factors that make them "qualified" to oversee those particular organizations.Our board of directors, although very sound and very dedicated people, were selected on somewhat different criteria . They were NOT selected based upon their resume's, community standing, social status, or even experience.
Our Board is comprised of people who have demonstrated beyond any doubt, a true interest in restoring this incredible historical site back to it's original glory, and hopefully making it better than it ever was before.
